Ding-dong me plait
Romain Kloeckner
Romain Kloeckner is a sculptural designer based in Uzerche. Having received training that was heavily focused on the object, function remains the starting point for his work. He explores it in various ways. Most often, he does so by highlighting small gestures of everyday life, emphasizing their poetry. His practice revolves around the viewer or user, who interacts with an installation or object to trigger a movement, a function, or a sound. Since 2020, he has developed a fondness for the sound of the earth, beginning to make bells through trial and error.
A new collection of bells has been created in Treignac.
Diverse in form and sound, these bells have been waiting just for you.
Their sounds delight, soothe, heal, and intoxicate.
When played together, they can be tuned to bring them into the realm of music.
They are here for your ears; their vibrations are ceramic.
Ring them, listen to them.
Ding-dong to you.
