Florian Roithmayr
Treignac Projet presents an exhibition of sculpture and video work by London-based artist Florian Roithmayr. The exhibition consists of a video work recently commissioned by Wysing Arts Centre that documents the process of vinyl car wrapping in Cambridge UK, a series of wall mounted concrete works, and a printed banner that hangs across an entire wall of the lower gallery space. All these works are newly presented in response to the architecture of Treignac Projet.
Treignac Projet hosted Florian Roithmayr from June to September 2013, supported by the The British Council / Arts Council England’s Artists’ International Development Fund. Florian Roithmayr’s exhibition is presented concurrently with the group exhibition O Chair O Flesh, that also features his works Inhaler (2013), Contact Lens (2013) and Untitled (rock carvings) (2010), alongside works by artists Fabienne Audeoud, Fleur van Dodewaard, Christian Jankowski, Bea McMahon, Kaspar Oppen Samuelsen, Ria Pacquée, Xavier Ribas, John Russell, Allan Sekula, Morten Torgersrud, Francis Upritchard, and Anne de Vries.
